  • 1. Rev. Sir Peter Rivers Gay, of Winchester, c. Southampton, Baronet. 2. Thomas King, of Bath, c. Somerset, Builder. Recites: 0810/1/29 and 0810/1/37 Recites: Lease for 21 years, 31 July 1769 1. Rev. Sir Peter Rivers Gay, of Winchester, c. Southampton, Baronet. 2. Peter Hooper, p. Walcot, Yeoman. Piece of ground (18r.) in the occupation of 2. called Rick Barton, together with the barn thereon, bounded on the east and north by land of 1. in the occupation of John Morford, on the west by the road from Bath to Batheaston, and on the south by land of 1. in the occupation of Thomas Davis. And a piece of ground being part of land called Bulman's Upper Garden (1/4a.) bounded on the east by the River Avon, on the north by another part of the land called Bulman's Upper Garden in the occupation of John Morford, on the west by the said Rick Barton, and south by land in the occupation of Thomas Davis. Consideration: £5 Recites: Lease for 21 years, 31 July 1769 1. Rev. Sir Peter Rivers Gay, of Winchester, c. Southampton, Baronet. 2. John Maggs, p. Walcot, Gardener. Part of land called Bulman's Upper Gardens (1 3/4a.) then in the occupation of John Maggs as tenant to John Morford, bounded on the east by the River Avon, on the north by land of John Hooper, on which the poorhouse of Walcot then stood, on the west by the road from Bath to Batheaston, and on the south by land of 1. in the occupation of Peter Hooper and John Morford. Consideration: £10.10s Recites: 0810/1/43 Lands described in 0810/1/29 and the 2 recited leases of 31 July 1769 Consideration: £17.17s
