Whereas John Taylor made and executed his last will, 27 November 1865, devising his estate equally between Martha Taylor the Elder (since dec'd.), her 2 sons John Taylor (party hereto) and Edward Taylor, and her daughters Martha Taylor, Ellen Taylor, Sarah Hack, and Mary Taylor as tenants in common. [Should also include Hariot Payne]
Whereas John Taylor died 10 August 1868.
Whereas Martha Taylor the Elder died intestate 11 August 1870, her 1/8th share in the premises descended to John Taylor, Edward Taylor, Martha Taylor the Younger, Harriot Payne, Ellen Taylor, Sarah Hack, and Mary Taylor as her next of kin.
Whereas on 18 September 1888 Letters of Administration on the estate of Martha Taylor the Elder were granted to Mary Taylor.
Whereas Martha Taylor the Younger died intestate on 19 November 1880, her share in the premises devolving to the parties of 1-6.
Whereas on 6 December 1880 letters of Administration on the estate of Martha Taylor the Younger were granted to Mary Taylor.
Whereas the parties of the first 6 parts have agreed with Thomas Frederick Inman as trustee of the estate of Sir Henry Chandos Rivers for the sale to him of the said plot of land for the residue of a term of 83 years 6 months.
