Description
  • The Second Poor's Charity made small annual payments to residents within the parish not receiving poor relief. Originally the incumbent, churchwarden and overseer acted as trustees but by 1903 the incumbent and two representatives of Corfe parish council administered the charity. In 1986 the funds of the Second Poor's Charity were transferred to the charity called the Allotment for the Labouring Poor of the Parish of Corfe [later the Charity For Allotments, Corfe].
