Description
The following papers relate to the Institute of Professional Civil Servants [IPCS] Hydrographic Office Branch, Taunton. From 1990 the IPCS became known as the Institute of Professional Managers and Specialists. [IPMS]. The Institute provides support and advice concerning members' terms and conditions of employment.
This collection contains records relating to the administration of the IPCS Hydrographic Branch, its staff and members, as well as issues relating to pay and conditions of Civil Service employees, the internal restructuring of the Hydrographic Department and various additional personnel issues.
Due to the confidential nature of these records a closure period has been applied. Records will not be produced without IPCS permission until 50 years after the last date noted within each file.
